After more than 300 pieces, setting aside 70 pieces, I finally selected the piece for submission to this year's Sankei International "Sho" Exhibition 産経国際書展.

I also thought about this poem but I didn't quite like how it turned out, so I decided not to pursue this piece any further after a few weeks.
Now to work on the piece for Kanagawa Art Exhibition 神奈川県美術展. Although I have not really started working on it yet, and may not even have anything to submit this year... and then I saw the website and found out that there will not be an exhibition this year. So the next one would be Onchikai Shodo Exhibition 温知会書道展 with deadline being October.
Update 22 July 2025: Notice came today. One of the pieces got accepted.
The other was not.
