Starry starry night

Starry starry night,
Twinkling jewels of shimmering light,
In the darkness stars so bright,
Come together a wondrous sight.
Beautiful starlight,
Filled my eyes both left and right,
All my dreams I hold on tight,
For them I gladly fight.
Wonderful delight,
Numerous poems I recite,
In the tower at this height,
I stare with all my might.
Blooming sunlight,
Slowly chasing away the night,
Devouring the stars with each small bite,
Until it is bright daylight.
