I don't think people ever willingly choose to go into prostitution.

Going into prostitution because the only other option available is death (in whatever form, be it starvation or by bullet) is not a choice.

(I will gather my thoughts about this issue in greater detail at a later date. Just wanted to get it out there after reading this article today.)
