After upgrading to Linux Mint 21, I thought it was time to upgrade the media server (running Ubuntu MATE 20.04) and service server (running Ubuntu Server 20.04) to Ubuntu 22.04 now that 22.04.1 is out.
But before that, I made a snapshot of both VMs, since they reside on my Dell Poweredge R720 server.
Then, I followed this guide here, which has the commands for upgrading to 22.04 via the command line (which I need for Ubuntu Server) and GUI.
The entire process is really quite straightforward.
And the end result...
Service server now on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Media server also now on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Oh, I also followed the instructions here to uninstall the snap version of Firefox and install it via apt.
