Dashu 大暑

After Xiaoshu, or 小暑, comes Dashu, or 大暑, another of the 二十四節気 24 solar terms. It literally means "major heat", and signifies the hottest time in the year.

 

I also tried a more "round" look.

 

And even tried to write using bamboo leave strokes.

 

Always nice to be able to experiment a bit.
