Easter

Today is Easter Sunday, celebrated by Christians to mark the resurrection of Jesus. Of course, to me, it is just another holiday marked in our calendars.

There is also a theory that Easter is a festival to celebrate an Anglo-Saxon goddess called Ēostre.

And while some countries celebrate Easter Sunday with Easter Monday (the Monday after Easter is a public holiday in lieu of Sunday since Easter always falls on a Sunday), unfortunately, we don't have that in Singapore... sigh...

Easter eggs, anyone?
